We use Minecraft to make the
real world unforgettable.
BlockBuilders is a company that designs and builds immersive educational experiences in Minecraft Education for schools, heritage organisations, and government bodies across the UK.
Since 2014, we've had one question at the heart of every project: how can we use Minecraft to showcase real-world opportunities and knowledge to young people?
Our innovative approach combines the creativity of Minecraft with curriculum-aligned content, helping students explore subjects from coastal erosion to medieval history, from proportional reasoning to media literacy.
Whether working with Xbox to rebuild a ruined castle, the Environment Agency to teach flood risk, or Cambridge University to make maths tangible — we turn complex subjects into adventures that students love and teachers trust.
What is Minecraft Education?
Minecraft Education is a game-based learning platform designed to engage students across the curriculum. It offers lessons, immersive worlds, and challenges that promote creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving.
The platform is accessible to all types of learners and is used in classrooms worldwide. We build custom worlds and experiences on this platform, tailored to specific learning objectives and curriculum requirements.
